Hi Friends!

 

Dusty here!  I'm a 3 year old black Lab mix looking for my new family.  Okay, okay, I'm a little heavy on the mix in looks BUT my personality is very much like a Lab and I know my furever family will love me just the way I am.

 

I lived in a busy family with many people coming and going which meant that I usually had someone home with me during the day.  I'm like a shadow in the house and always up for whatever the kiddos are getting into.  I'm also cool to just lounge on the couch or play in the backyard until it's time for a walk.  I'm walked on a flat collar and could probably use some guidance from my new family since I'm super excited to be out.  I want to meet everyone and take no time at all to warm up.

 

I don't have many canine friends to play with often but on occasion when I stay at the dog sitter's house, I've gotten along well with others.  I haven't met one of those cat things so not sure about that.

 

I have lots to experience with my new family like that game called swimming and that other one, Fetch I think it's called.... I also heard of this place called doggy school that sounds like so much fun.  I've only been taught "sit" and I can do that one pretty well but there's so much more potential in me that's dying to shine.  I'd love to show my new family all the tricks I can do for a treat!

 

My perfect family will give me a regular exercise routine balanced with walks and play time as well as lots of cuddle time on the couch.  They will have time to teach me some new skills and help me learn fun games all while making memories that will last a lifetime.
