Rocky here!  I might have been named after the great Rocky Balboa since I too am a champion...at fetch that is.  I'm 5 years old and I'm a sweet chocolate boy looking for my new family.  I'm coming to Lab Rescue because my family is very busy with the wee ones in the house and I need some dedicated attention.  

 

I'm great with young children and very tolerant of their juvenile behaviour.  I don't bother much with the cat in the home.  I absolutely LOVE playing with other dogs who are on the submissive side and have lots of energy like me.

 

I mind my manners in the house and only go on the furniture when invited but when I'm allowed, look out because here comes the Cuddle Monster!  I also sleep on my dog bed at night right beside my person. I'm always close by to supervise your day or offer up my stuffy as my special gift to you.  I would do well with someone who is home during the day.  

 

I know my basic commands and stay close when off leash.  My leash walks were very limited and I need a refresher course with my new family.  I'm sure I'll catch on quickly as I'm just out of practice.  

 

I'm an all around LAB package! I'm great with children, cats and dogs.  I'm super smart and well behaved and I love all the Lab things like playing ball and swimming.  I'm sure to fit in with any family with the compassion to go the extra mile to work with the rescue team in sorting my skin issues.  The experts with Lab Rescue are very experienced with skin issues and I have a wonderful foster taking care of me.  They're formulating a plan to get me in tip top shape. Some times these things are usually complex and I may need to take medication long term to control the itch as well as regular baths but the team will discuss that in more detail with my potential family.
